Cloud Preventive Surveillance

NuTACT SmartCCTV combines the best of both worlds, the good old video recording function of the conventional CCTV system and the break-in preventive measures of IP-based security surveillance with NuTACT Cloud Surveillance Management Center. As a result, when the DVR fails or gets stolen, the CCTV cameras become useless. NuTACT SmartCCTV system is DVR-less and continues to function when your video recording server fails. You still get to monitor all cameras through CSMC. Snapshots are still being uploaded to CSMC remote storage when motion is detected.

You can check out the attached photos in the email, launch the app and see the live video on your smart phone and take the necessary actions to stop it. Once logged into your own CSMC portal, you can view any cameras of any locations, provided that your access is granted. Privacy With the conventional CCTV system, you will lose your privacy in your own office room. With NuTACT SmartCCTV, you will get to monitor, apply break-in prevention, yet safeguard your privacy in your own office room. Local Video Recording You have just upgraded to a new notebook or IPad/Android tablets.

Well, now you can always turn your underutilized PC into a video recording device with NuTACT SmartCCTV Video Management Software. NuTACT Panic Siren Unit The latest addition to the NuTACT SmartCCTV Surveillance armory which utilizes the Panic Siren Button feature. Once attached to a NuTACT Indoor IP Camera, a single touch on your mobile device will set off a deafening siren to fend off intruders.

Setting Up DVR for remote viewing

I have a router which is running on dynamic public ip.2. On the DVR, i have set the IP to be and Port forwarding enabled, port :80. For gateway n DNS, im not sure too whether im keying in correctly because in my router its IP Default Gateway and DNS server reading are different from this that i keyed in. IP Subnet mask in my router also says instead of that i key in. Please Note that this is under LAN setting in the DVR, there is DHCP and ADSL as well, not sure if i am suppose to key it in there.

In the DVR i have also enabled ddns and keyed in the host name, username and password. In the router i have enabled DMZ and keyed in the which i have set in the DVR earlier. I also go to port forwarding in my router and enabled UDP and TCP with port begin 80 and end 80. LAN IP is again keyed as If I am outside using a different ISP i.e a Starbucks free wifi, i am able to view the CCTV with my browser by keying in the DDNS host name.

I Am also able to do so with my iPhone using a free app where i key in my dens host name, port number and login credentials. However in the same location using the same app in the phone and same browser on my laptop, if i am connected to the same network as the one broadcasting/hooked up to my DVR, i am unable to view it.
